Is it possible for someone to be a witch and not even know it? I think my mother in law is a witch and she doesn't even know it or she is just acting innocent trying to fool me, I don't know.
I have never believed that witchcraft is real until I got married into the family and lived with them. My mother in law had four sons including my husband but they are all dead.
They all died death that spilt blood. The first son was stabbed to death, the second one died in a car accident and my husband shot himself, he was a soldier.
The younger son was found dead, he was hit by a rock on the head multiple times. Okay so this son's die 3 years apart. Every 3rd year there's a funeral in the family. Males only.when someone in the family gives birth to a female child my mother inlaw doesn't get happy, she can't even hide the fact that she's disappointed.
When a male child is born into the family, she even slaughters a goat and celebrates. At first I thought that it's just how elders are. They seem to think that a male child is more important than a female child.
But the male children don't live for long, there's always a male child buried every third years as I previously mentioned.
Since I've moved in with my mother inlaw, there's this one room in the house that's always locked. She wears the keys around her kneck everyday. I once asked what's inside and I was told that it is her late husband's belongings.
She goes into that room once every other month without failure. She only goes at night never during the day. Apparently no one is allowed to enter, even my husband has never entered.
I noticed that every third year the house becomes awafuly cold and misty the entire week, and soon as someone in the family passes away the coldness and mist goes away. I then started getting very worried on the 5th day. I knew something was not right in that room.
One day I managed to break into that room while my mother inlaw visited her daughter out of the village. There was no bed nor anything in the room except for a VERY big pot, the fire three legged pot. The room doesn't even have a window so it was kind of a dark room.
I opened the pot and it was filled with blood, the blood was boiling . I felt my hair moving and my skin crawling. I ran out of the room and closed it. It wasn't locking anymore so every night since I entered the room, I would hear footsteps in the house.
Sometimes at night I run out of breath and when I open my eyes, I hear footsteps walking away from my bed to the door, the door being slammed as the footsteps dissappear into the house but I see nothing and no one.
When my mother in law came back I confronted her and she started acting confused, to this day she still acts confused and innocent. I am scared to even go back into that room but I told her to go check what I am talking about and she says the pot is empty.
I really want to go open the pot but I am scared. I don't even know where to start seeking for help. I tried going to a traditional healer at some point and the footsteps followed me and started chasing me. I ended up going back home.
My life hasn't been the same ever since but what is shocking me is that my mother in law swears she has never seen a pot in that room. She is very soft spoken and you'll never ever hear her shout or see her angry.
She's still putting on an innocent face. My biggest fear is what if I go in that room with her to see if there's really no pot in there and I don't make it out alive? I am not okay I need help.
