So much to say about so many. Please keep me anonymous. I used to be a tarven owner and my business was slow and bad. During a busy weekend when people are back from their respective work places, such as festive holidays and so forth my BUSINESS would still suffer.
I mean you'd think BECAUSE people working far from home are back then I'd be making lots of money. Ofcourse other tavern owners would be making lots of money while my tavern would be dry.
I got tired and jealous one day so i decided to go to a sangoma so i can bewitch my competitors. When i got there i learned something new. The sangoma told me that the other tarven owners might be strong and protected and they can easily do a back to sender ritual then i would be in big trouble.
He then introduced me to ukuthwala. This was in 2001 when ukuthwala wasn't spoken about or discussed and not many knew about it. He didn't explain much to me but i understood that i had to take a snake, take care of it and in exchange I'd get a lot of money.
I was so happy to hear of such. He told me That's what others are doing. I accepted and took the snake with me. Three days later my twin brother died in a car accident. My business started booming. My tarven was always packed.
But I started realising that for three years I've been losing my loved ones. When the snake couldn't get anymore blood feedings. It started roaming around the tarven. More and more people started noticing it. I acted surprised too like I didn't know it.
They started hitting it with stones and I was shocked that I was the one feeling every pain. It died and I was sick for almost a year. My business fell and I am okay being poor. I am sharing this because of the video I came across of a community giving a snake beer.
I am convinced the owner is there amongst them and if they checked they would see the owner getting more drunk as the snake drank the beer.
