I am even shaking reading the Machethe story because it's taking me straight back to wounds that were nearly healed. The exact same thing happened to me in 2017. My own little brother tooky my precious daughter's life and it's still so painful to this day.
What's more painful is the fact that he didn't do it alone. He called a friend to help him take the life of his own niece. I keep trying to imagine the pain my daughter must have went through before giving in.
I mean I can almost hear her screaming for me to come to her rescue but her pleads fell on deaf ears. Imagine someone I practically raised with so much love doing this to my own child. Our parents were very busy people so I was the deputy parent and I took very good care of my brother.
I protected him with everything in me and I had hope that he would also protect my children even in my absence. I was so wrong and it really hurts that this kind of pain comes from my own blood.
His excuse now is that he doesnt understand how he did it and he was possessed. My very old mom is now very sickly due to the whole thing. I never fully understood what they meant when they said that money is the root of all evil but now I fully do.
