THE VILLAGE HORROR

 THE VILLAGE HORROR.

Please keep me anonymous. This is not exactly a confession but this is something that once happened in our village 6 years ago. So I come from a very big Village in Limpopo and the village is divided into parts . So it's one big village divided in sections and named According to that.

I'm not sure if I'm making any sense though. Anywhere there were these two Grannies who had children apparently way before I was even born. They were very old grannies so their children could've been my mom's age or slightly younger.

I'm saying this because they lived with their only grand daughter whom I happened to be slightly older than. Anyway so this two Grannies always had rumors that they practice darkness and they have used their children as sacrifices to be powerful.

But no one knows if that's true for sure. In that section of the village that they lived at the children there used to pass on randomly and consistently. One day one of the decreased childrens mother apparently had a dream of her child visiting her.

The child got there and asked for food and water. In that dream the mother says that the child looked very dirty and drained. So she asked the child why he looked so tired,the child passed on when he was 8 years old and it had been two years since his passing so he kinda looked grown a bit.

The child answered his mother's question of him looking tired by telling her that he's tired from not sleeping enough at night because he has to work and the fridge is uncomfortable during the day. The mother was confused and asked where an 8 year old could possibly work at night.

Her son got up and left and her dream she followed him until he entered into the old grannies yard and suddenly dissapeared. The mother was bothered by the dream but decided not to tell anyone about it. The second time she dreamt about her son again, her son came over to the house again and this time very angry.

He asked her why when she passes by the grannie's house during the day and he calls for her and she doesn't respond nor bother to look? He was so angry that he started biting her on the hand. The next morning she woke up with a painful hand but no teeth mark.

She decided to go consult and she was told that her child and many others were in that yard and she needed to go fetch his spirit before she comes in to take his siblings to the spiritual world. She was now scared and decided to take this to their Nduna(headman) seeking for a solution.

The two grannies were summond by the headman for a meeting and upon arrival they were asked for permission to enter their yard. Mind you no one had ever entered their yard before. Their gate is forever locked and during the day you'd never see anyone outside there.

The two old women got agitated immediately and start swearing and cursing saying how much they hate nosey people. They refused for their yards to be entered and that made everyone suspicious.

The villagers started speaking up about how their hair would stand whenever they passed that house. They all agreed that it meant there was something weird going on in there. Their granddaughter realised that her grandmothers were in trouble,she rushed home to call the police.

The villagers forced entrance into the yard and searched the whole house. In the house there was one room which was locked and they forced opened the door and inside the room was a very huge fridge. When they opened the fridge they found one shoe each of many shoes. The shoes belonged to children.

Some parents identified the shoes as those of the children who had passed away. These made the villagers very angry and they started mishandled the grannies look for answers. They tried burning the grannies and their house. 

The house wouldn't burn until the police arrived. The villagers were filled with so much rage that the police had to take the two Grannies with them for safety purposes. They took them with and guess what since the grannies left there hadn't been random deaths of kids happenings anymore.

The reason why I'm here is because the grannies were moved to our second of the village. They now live there and everyone in our village k ones about their saga and we are all scared of them and we fear for our kids. With all this being said, witchcraft is very real and we now Suddenlink have hyenas roaming our streets in our village.

The hyenas don't attack adults. They only attack children.

My worry here is how can we legally get rid of the gogos before our children get sweeped off? Our village has become very unsafe since they were moved here. Rumour has it that our headman was bribed with a lot of money to give them a stand in our village.
