HOW I BECAME RICH WORKING ONLINE

How I Made 6 Figures Online After Losing My Job: A Journey of Faith, Tradition, and Resilience

Life has a way of knocking us down when we least expect it. Three years ago, I found myself at one of the lowest points in my life. I had lost my job—a career I had poured years of hard work and dedication into. With bills to pay and no safety net to fall back on, I was at a crossroads. But as they say, it’s not about how hard you fall; it’s about how you rise. Today, I’m proud to say I’ve built an online platform that generates six figures annually, using nothing but my writing skills, determination, and trust in my roots.

This is not a story of shortcuts, dark forces, or selling one’s soul. It’s about believing in yourself, honoring your heritage, and taking practical steps to ensure your success. Allow me to share my journey, the lessons I’ve learned, and why I believe every Black child deserves to rewrite the narrative of success.

The Breaking Point

Losing my job was a wake-up call I didn’t see coming. For years, I believed that stability came from employment, a 9-to-5 paycheck, and climbing the corporate ladder. But when that ladder was pulled out from under me, I had to reevaluate everything.

I didn’t have a backup plan or savings to fall back on. My skills in writing, brainstorming, and problem-solving suddenly became my only assets. And while doubt and fear tried to creep in, I made a decision to bet on myself.

Building an Online Platform

With nothing but a laptop and an internet connection, I decided to create an online platform where people could come to me for advice and idea generation. I charged a fee for my services, and to my surprise, people began to pay for my expertise.

My platform wasn’t an overnight success. It took months of late nights, countless emails, and persistent marketing to gain traction. But I stayed consistent, and eventually, I began to see results.

The Role of Spirituality in My Journey

One thing I cannot ignore is the role my spirituality and heritage played in my success. After losing my job, I realized that my journey needed to be aligned with not just my skills but also my spirit. I turned to the teachings of my ancestors and sought guidance through prayer and rituals.

No, this did not involve anything sinister or harmful. Let me be clear: success does not require you to join dark forces or compromise your integrity. For me, it was about reconnecting with my roots and seeking blessings for my journey.

I performed a ritual to inform my ancestors of my new path. This involved the slaughtering of a goat, traditional beer, and snuff—a practice deeply rooted in my cultural heritage. It was a way of honoring those who came before me and asking for their guidance and protection.

This act of faith brought me peace and clarity. It reminded me that I was not alone in my journey and that I carried the strength of generations within me.

Dispelling the Myths Around Success

One of the biggest misconceptions in our communities is that success—especially financial success—comes at a cost that is too high for the average person to bear. We’re often told that wealth requires joining secret societies or sacrificing our morals.

I’m here to tell you that this is not true. Success is not reserved for a chosen few or those willing to compromise their values. It is possible to build wealth through hard work, faith, and authenticity.

Lessons Learned Along the Way

  1. Bet on Yourself
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you are your greatest investment. When I chose to believe in my skills and abilities, doors began to open.

  2. Stay Connected to Your Roots
Your heritage and spiritual practices are a source of strength. Don’t let anyone make you feel ashamed of where you come from or the rituals that ground you.

  3. Consistency is Key
Success doesn’t happen overnight. It requires hard work, patience, and the willingness to keep going, even when the results aren’t immediate.

  4. Community Matters
Surround yourself with people who uplift and encourage you. Whether it’s family, friends, or a faith community, having a support system makes all the difference.

  5. Define Your Own Success
Success looks different for everyone. For me, it was building an online platform that allowed me to use my talents while staying true to my values. For you, it might be something entirely different—and that’s okay.

A Message to the Black Child

To every Black child reading this, I want you to know that you are worthy of success. Don’t let anyone convince you that you need to join dark forces or abandon your morals to achieve greatness.

Yes, the road will be challenging. Yes, there will be moments of doubt and fear. But if I can rise from losing my job to building a six-figure business, so can you. You have everything you need within you—your skills, your faith, and your determination.

Looking Ahead

Three years ago, I thought my life was over. Today, I’m living proof that setbacks are often setups for something greater. My journey is far from over, but I’m excited about what lies ahead.

If you’re feeling stuck or unsure of your path, I encourage you to take a moment to reconnect with yourself and your roots. Remember that success is not about shortcuts or compromises; it’s about faith, hard work, and staying true to who you are.

Let this be your reminder: You are capable, you are deserving, and you are unstoppable. Your ancestors are rooting for you, and so am I.

That’s my story. What will yours be?
