I Went to a Sangoma for a Money Ritual, and Now the Consequences Are Unimaginable
Life can be tough, and sometimes we feel like we are stuck in the same place no matter how hard we work. That was me a few years ago. I was struggling, and no matter what I did, I couldn’t see progress in my life. I worked hard at my job, but my finances were never enough. Bills kept piling up, and I couldn’t provide for my family the way I wanted. It was frustrating and heartbreaking.
One day, a friend suggested I visit a sangoma. She told me that a sangoma could help me unlock my luck and find a solution to my problems. At first, I was hesitant. I grew up hearing stories about sangomas and rituals, and I didn’t know if it was something I wanted to get involved in. But the pressure to fix my life became too much. I decided to go, hoping it would help me find a way forward.
The sangoma was kind and welcoming. He listened to my problems patiently as I poured out my frustrations. I explained how I was working hard but couldn’t see progress. My money would disappear as quickly as I earned it. After I was done talking, the sangoma nodded and told me he could help.
He recommended a money ritual. He called it “safe” and said it would unlock wealth and success in my life. He explained that the ritual would bring money into my life, but I had to make a sacrifice once a year to keep the luck flowing. He didn’t tell me exactly what the sacrifice would be, but he assured me that it wouldn’t be harmful. I was desperate and trusted his words.
The ritual was strange, but I followed all his instructions. He gave me things to bury in my yard and told me to light a candle every month to honor the spirits. At first, everything seemed fine. I started noticing small changes. Money was flowing better, and my life felt more stable. But then, something happened that I’ll never forget.
The First Night It Happened
One night, my house felt different. It was quiet, but not the usual kind of quiet. It was an eerie, heavy silence. Suddenly, I felt water beneath my feet. I looked around and realized my house was turning into a river. The floor was covered in water, and I could hear it flowing, but I couldn’t see where it was coming from.
The strangest part was the snake. I couldn’t see it, but I could feel its presence. It moved through the water, brushing against my feet. It wasn’t just an animal—it felt like something more, something terrifying. My family and I were panicking. We didn’t understand what was happening.
By the time morning came, everything went back to normal. The house was dry, and there was no sign of the river or the snake. But the damage had already begun. The next day, one of my children fell seriously ill. We rushed to the hospital, but the doctors couldn’t find anything wrong. A few weeks later, my child passed away.
After that, the same thing happened twice a year. Every time, the house would turn into a river at night, and the invisible snake would return. The next day, someone in my family would get sick. By the second time it happened that year, the sick person would die.
It felt like the snake was choosing its victims. My family was terrified, but we didn’t know what to do. So far, I have lost my two children, my little brother, and my husband’s younger sister. Each loss has been devastating.
I went back to the sangoma to confront him. He listened to me but didn’t seem surprised. He told me the sacrifices were necessary to keep the money ritual working. When I asked why he didn’t warn me that the sacrifices would be my loved ones, he said it was part of the deal I had accepted. I was furious, but what could I do?
Now, I live in constant fear. Twice a year, I relive the nightmare of my house turning into a river and the invisible snake’s presence. I try to warn my family, but there is no way to stop it. I feel like I made a deal with something dark, and now I can’t escape the consequences.
I’ve tried to find other spiritual healers to help me, but no one has been able to undo the ritual. Some tell me to leave the house, but deep down, I know it’s not just the house—it’s me. The ritual has tied me to something evil, and my family is paying the price.
Looking back, I wish I had never gone to the sangoma. I was desperate, but I didn’t think about the long-term consequences. If you are reading this and considering doing something similar, I beg you to think twice. No amount of money or success is worth losing your loved ones.
I’ve learned the hard way that there are no shortcuts in life. Sometimes, the things we think will help us only bring more pain. If I could go back, I would choose to struggle honestly rather than live with the guilt and loss that I feel now.
I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I am trying to find a way to break free from this curse. I’ve started praying and asking for forgiveness, hoping that one day, the spirits will release me and stop taking my family.
This is my story, and I hope it serves as a warning to others. Be careful what you wish for and always think about the price you might have to pay. Some deals are not worth making.
Thank you for reading my story. Please share it with others who might be thinking of making the same mistake I made. Sometimes, the best way to move forward is to trust the process and work hard without looking for shortcuts. Life is not easy, but at least it’s honest.
Stay safe, and may you never face the consequences I’ve had to endure.
