A Wealthy Couple Asked Me to Carry Their Child, Only to Learn That I Would Carry Their Snake.
In simple terms ,the couple make me take care of their money ritual snake.
It was a cold winter morning when I first met the wealthy couple. I had never seen people quite like them—dressed in the finest clothes, with an air of sophistication and power that seemed to surround them. They lived in a mansion on the edge of town, a place I had only ever seen from a distance. I was just an ordinary person, struggling to make ends meet, so I never imagined I would cross paths with such important people.
The couple approached me while I was working at the local café. I didn’t know why they had chosen me, but there they were, sitting at the table across from mine. They were calm, their smiles warm but distant, as if they had already decided what they were going to say.
“We’ve been looking for someone like you,” the woman said, her voice soft yet confident. She had long, dark hair that shimmered like silk, and her eyes held a mysterious gleam. “We’ve heard of your reputation. You’ve helped many people, haven’t you?”
I nodded, not sure where this conversation was heading. I had indeed helped a few people here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary. They seemed to know something about me that I didn’t quite understand.
“We need you to carry our child,” the man said. He was tall and broad-shouldered, his face stern yet kind. “We’ve been trying for years, but we cannot have a child of our own. You are our last hope.”
The words hit me like a wave. Carry their child? Was this some kind of joke? I wasn’t prepared for this, but something in their eyes made me hesitate. There was sincerity there, a deep longing that I couldn’t ignore.
“We understand this is a big request,” the woman continued, her gaze never leaving mine. “But we will take care of everything. You won’t have to worry about a thing. All we ask is that you carry our child for us. We’ll take care of the rest.”
I didn’t know what to say. It seemed impossible, yet there was something in their demeanor that made me feel they were telling the truth. After a long pause, I spoke.
“Why me? Why not find someone else?”
The man smiled gently. “We’ve been searching for someone with a pure heart, someone who can understand the importance of this task. You are the one we’ve chosen. There is no one else.”
Their offer seemed too good to be true. The couple promised me wealth beyond my wildest dreams, and all I had to do was carry their child. I hesitated, but the thought of a better life, of no longer struggling, tempted me beyond measure. In the end, I agreed. They gave me an envelope with the details and a promise to meet again.
A few days later, I went to their mansion to begin the process. The house was even more beautiful on the inside. The walls were adorned with paintings that seemed to come alive, and the air smelled of expensive perfume and fresh flowers. They led me to a room that looked like a nursery, only much grander. In the center of the room was a large, ornate crib, surrounded by golden furniture and plush carpets.
“You will stay here with us,” the woman said. “This is where you will rest while you carry our child. Everything you need will be provided for you.”
I didn’t know what to expect, but I felt a strange sense of unease. I had always been a little superstitious, and there was something about the room that felt... off. But I pushed the feeling aside. They had promised me a life of comfort, and I wasn’t going to let my doubts stop me now.
They handed me a small box. It was intricately designed, with gold and silver details, and it felt surprisingly heavy for its size.
“This is for you,” the man said. “Inside, you will find what you need to carry our child. We trust you will care for it as we would.”
I took the box with trembling hands. My heart raced in my chest as I carefully opened it. But what I saw inside wasn’t what I had expected. It wasn’t a baby at all.
Instead, there was a snake—its scales glistening in the light, its body coiled tightly inside the box. Its eyes were large and unblinking, staring directly at me. A shiver ran down my spine.
The woman and man seemed to sense my shock. They smiled, but it wasn’t the warm smile I had seen before. There was something darker about it now, something that sent a cold chill through my veins.
“This is our child,” the woman said, her voice almost hypnotic. “The snake is our child. It is what we have given birth to, and it is the one you will carry.”
I stumbled back, unable to speak. This wasn’t what I had agreed to. I had thought they were asking me to carry a baby, a human child. But this... this was something else entirely.
The man’s voice cut through my panic. “You see, we have no choice. The child we desired is not a child at all. It is a creature of magic, and it needs someone like you to carry it. You must protect it, care for it, and ensure it grows strong.”
I tried to understand, but nothing made sense. “But... why a snake? Why not a child?”
The woman stepped forward, her expression softening for the first time. “The snake is the true form of what we wanted. It’s a powerful being, one that can change everything. And you, my dear, will help it grow.”
I could feel my heart pounding in my chest, my breath coming in short gasps. This was not what I had expected. I had no idea what I had gotten myself into. But there was no turning back now. I had agreed, and I had to follow through.
The days passed in a blur. I cared for the snake, as they had instructed. I fed it strange, foul-smelling food, and I watched as it grew. But with each passing day, I noticed something darker about it. The snake was not just growing—it was changing. It was becoming more powerful, more dangerous. And it was starting to change me as well.
I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t eat. The snake’s presence filled the room, and its eyes seemed to follow me everywhere. I began to hear whispers in the night, soft, slithering voices that called my name. It was as if the creature was speaking to me, telling me things I didn’t want to know.
One evening, after another sleepless night, I decided to confront the couple. I found them in their study, sitting by a fire that crackled quietly in the background. They didn’t look surprised to see me.
“What is happening to me?” I asked, my voice shaking. “What is this thing you’ve asked me to carry?”
The man looked at me with a calm expression. “You are becoming one with it,” he said. “The snake is a part of you now. It has chosen you.”
I stumbled back, feeling a wave of panic crash over me. “I don’t want this! I can’t do this anymore!”
But the woman’s smile was almost kind, though her eyes held something cold. “You have no choice, my dear. You are bound to it now. The snake is a part of you, and you are a part of it. There’s no turning back.”
And with that, I realized the terrifying truth. The wealthy couple had not asked me to carry their child at all. They had tricked me, using me as a vessel for something far darker than I could have ever imagined.
